Whimsy Stamps - A Sassy Afternoon

Hi Everyone,

I have been really busy making cards for Whimsy Stamps lately and am feeling a little back to my life again.. Things have been crazy here with so much going on.

Today's card shows off "A Lazy Afternoon" from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps, I have also used some Digital Sentiments and Digital Paper.

I began by colouring up the image using Copic Markers and adding some extra details using a Uni-Ball white gel pen, this always finishes off an image.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die.

I printed out some of the Digital Papers from Dino Friends Digital Paper set, I cut one piece down using a Stitched Square die.

I trimmed down a piece of American Crafts Blue Cardstock as a matte layer and started adhering all my layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

Using some of the scrap pieces of the patterned paper and some offcuts of the white to create banners using my Ek Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I used leftovers of the same patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card to match.

I love the way the card turned out and I hope you do too :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
