Whimsy Stamps - Ahoy Neighbour

Good Morning Everyone,

It's a new month which means New Release time over at Whimsy Stamps, the girls started us off yesterday and today I am sharing with you Ahoy Matey from the Digital Stamps New Release.

I printed the image onto X-Press It  Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, then coloured the image up using Copic Markers.

I went with simplicity on my card today, because I actually ended up colouring 3 of the images as I couldn't stop :-) I will share those with you later in the month.

I used some patterned papers from Little Boy Blue from Crate Paper, I used all leftovers on the front of my card which is always awesome. I like to use up as much of my paper pad as I can, there's no wastage here.

I trimmed down the little D block from the same paper pad using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors then bannered it up.

The sentiment is from Taylored Expression Simple Strips, I stamped it out on American Crafts Black Cardstock which I had already prepared using a Powder Tool using Ink On 3 Embossing Ink. I then added some Ranger Ink Super Fine White Embossing Powder. I then melted the embossing powder using my Heat Tool. I ran the sentiments through my Sizzix Big Shot using the matching dies. I trimmed the little one down using my Ek Success Scissors so I was able to match the sentiments up.

I added a doily from my stash using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive.

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using the same liquid adhesive.

Once the front of my card was complete I moved onto decorating the inside of my card using the same patterned papers.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Ahoy Three

I am loving this new image from Whimsy Stamps called Ahoy Matey, and am excited to share another card with you that I have created using this image.

This is a Digital Stamp so I printed it onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer. Then coloured it up using Copic Markers.

I had fun layering up patterned papers from the Crate Paper Little Blue Boy paper pad, I also bannered some up using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

Within the paper pad there is a few sheets of these alphabets and numbers, I cut down the 3 Primary colours as I thought it would be a cute sentiment piece to add on.

I love the way this image coloured up :-)

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card base using Helmar Acid Free.

I used leftovers of the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card to match.

Whimsy Stamps - You Are The Prince To My Heart

Welcome :-)

Today I am sharing with you a super cute image from Whimsy Stamps called Frog Prince, I have used the Digital Version, however it is also available as a Rubber Stamp.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, using a laser printer means the image is completely Copic Marker safe. I also printed the matching sentiments.

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers and added some extra details using a Uni-Ball Signo white gel pen.

The patterned papers are from Crate Paper Love Notes 6x6 Paper Pad, the sentiment tag is also from the same paper pad, I fussy cut it down using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I used my Tonic Studios Guillotine to trim down the sentiments then bannered them using my Cutterbee Scissors.

I ran the Chandra Stem die from Memory Box through my Big Shot using leftover X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I added a doily to a Couture Creations Cardbase using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive then began adding all my other layers. Finally to finish the front of my card I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bottle Green and Apple Green.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Critter Cuties Baby Boy

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a New Release from Whimsy Stamps, this little cutie is from the Critter Cuties Digital Stamp Collection.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, then coloured him up using Copic Markers.

I trimmed him down using my Cutterpillar Pro, my go to Trimmer, super sharp and smooth cuts and never have to change the blade as its self sharpening.

The patterned papers are from Crate Paper Little Boy Blue Collection, I trimmed the blue piece down and bannered the end of it using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I added a doily between the layers image and the doily using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

Adhering the layers together using the same liquid adhesive to a Couture Creations Card Base.

Finally to finish off the front I added a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Hooray Stamp Set, I stamped out the It's A Boy using Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press it Blending Card then trimmed it down.

I added some Enamel Dots from W Plus 9 which I have had since forever, they will no longer be able to be purchased.

I used leftover pieces of the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Honey Bee Stamps - Build A Bee - Hooray

Hi Everyone, Today I am sharing with you some cards I made using a stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps Called Build A Bee, this is such a gorgeous stamp set. I made two cards with this same stamp set and all the same products.

I stamped the images out using Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card, I then fussy cut them using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I used sentiment stamps from the Hooray Stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps, I put them into my Misti Stamping Tool to line them up, I stamped them out twice onto some X-Press It Blending Card using Ink On 3 Embossing Ink. Silly me waited too long before I added the Embossing Powder so the Embossing Powder didn't stick, I had to re-stamp them, thankfully I used my Misti so was able to just put the card straight back in and re-stamp.

I used Ranger Ink Embossing Ink in Dandelion Yellow and Black, I forgot to mention before I stamped the sentiments I prepared the card using powder tool.

Using my heat gun I melted the embossing powder until it was smooth, I switched between melting from front and back.

I ran the Honey Bee Stamps Hexagon Bunches die through my Sizzix Big Shot using some leftover American Crafts black card. I actually ran it through a second time using some Yellow card so I could fill the hexagons with the yellow.

Pulling out a Crate Paper paper pad called Little Boy Blue I cut down some layers using my Cutterpillar Pro. I matted the sentiment piece using some more of the black American Crafts Card.

I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow and Ebony Black to add some Enamel Dots to the cards.

I decorated the inside of the cards to match using the same patterned papers.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
