I have a card show for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts for you today, using a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Magical Unicorns. I love love love unicorns and couldn't wait to get this set.
Let's talk process then i will add links down the bottom of all the items i have used on this card.
I normally would colour all the images at this stage but i was multi-tasking a few things at the time so i ended up die cutting all the images using my Sizzix Big Shot first.
I then coloured all the images using Copic Markers (list will be below) once they were all coloured i added Wink Of Stella clear to the horns.
Next i used Blueprints 27 from My Favorite Things and cut out the frame using Mondi Color Copy so it was the same white as the images.
I used my Mini Distress Inks and Mini Ink Blending Tool from Tim Holtz to blend the backgrounds of all the rectangles. I used Tumbled glass on the small two rectangles and both Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar on the larger one. While blending the larger rectangle i somehow crumpled it slightly (aah) so after the card was finished I added some Sequins from my stash to cover that spot up.
After doing all the blending i laid it all out on my desk to work out what i was going to do design wise.. At first i was planning to put a unicorn into all three rectangles.. when i laid it out it just didn't look right.. so then i decided to stamp the rainbow onto the middle rectangle and colour it to match. (just realised i did this before blending not after).
I glued the unicorns onto the rectangles using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive and then added the wings as i wasn't sure if i was going to add them using foam tape or not. I ended up glueing them on as i decided i would put the frame onto the large rectangle die from the Blueprints 27 set using Scotch Foam Adhesive. I cut the rectangle out of some leftover blue from a previous project.
I then added the whole layout to a card base from Twiddleybitz using my Scotch ATG and that is the card complete.
Lucky last i added some Perfect Pearls to a Ranger Mini Mister and spritz my whole card so it is all glittery and beautiful.
