Whimsy Stamps - Cuddle Bunny

Hi All,

Today I have a super cute Easter card to share with you using Cuddle Bunny from Whimsy Stamps - designed by Crissy Armstrong.

This is a Digital Stamp so I have printed the image using my Brother Laser Printer onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I trimmed the image down using my Trimmer, I printed her at a larger size so I could colour all the details in.

The image had been coloured using Copic Markers, unfortunately this is one that I coloured up ages ago so do not have a list of markers used.

I also used a Digital Sentiment from Whimsy Stamps "Everyday Banner Sentiments", I also printed them onto X- Press It Blending card, just because that's what is already set up in my Laser Printer. I trimmed it down using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

The patterned papers are from Pebbles Ever After paper collection, this is a very old collection so I do apologise but I don't think you will be able to track any of it down.

The matte layers are from my stash, they could possibly be from American Crafts however that part had already been cut down so I can't be sure.

I adhered all the layers using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive, this is my go to when it comes to liquid adhesives.

Using Derivan Kindyglitz I added lots of glitter to her ribbons, the flowers and a little on the butterfly, I find all these last minute details finish off a card.

I used lots of leftover bits to decorate the inside of the card.

Here is some more cute pics of the finished card :-)

Elisabeth Bell - Hanging in the garden

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I have another card to share with you using another (unfortunately) retired image, this is an image from Designer Elisabeth Bell, she used to design for Whimsy Stamps however does not any longer.

I also used a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Everyday Banner Sentiments, I trimmed it down using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, this was coloured up quite a while ago so I don't have a Copic Marker list to share with you today.

I trimmed the image down using Lawn Fawn Stitched Squares die which I ran through my Sizzix Big Shot.

The patterned papers are from Pebbles Ever After Collection, I am down to the very last bits and pieces of this paper collection so you won't be seeing many more cards using these papers. It's a great feeling when you work your way through a paper collection that you have had for quite a while.

The gorgeous little heart is from MFT Stamps Staggered Heart Border, looks like it's an older retired die however I managed to find some links on other websites.

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive.

I used the same patterned papers to finish off the inside of the card then added white gel pen and some Derivan Kindy Glitz in Crystalina to the image, I left it out over night to dry.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

DSB - Just A Boy, his skateboard and his pets

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I am creating a card using an image from a company called Digi Stamp Boutique (or DSB), this company is no longer around unfortunately because I loved all the stamps so much.

As you may know I have been trying to work my way through my pile of already coloured up images, so it sue that I can't share this image with you all to purchase.. I don't like sharing things that are no longer available however I can't not use these images as they mean too much to me.

This company was one of my favourite stamp companies when I was first starting out, they had such a great variety of images and I purchased so many of them.

The image would have been printed onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock as that's what I have always used for my Copic Markers. This image is old so more than likely would have been printed using my old Canon Pixma Printer which was Copic friendly. I haven't tried out my new printer that I got this week yet, but I will let you know if it is Copic safe when I get to it.. I literally picked it up a few days ago and plugged it in yesterday, I haven't used it yet.

Back to the card, I coloured the image using Copic Markers, being that this was coloured a while ago it wouldn't have been recorded which markers I was using, I've learnt my lesson and I now attach the list to every image I colour.

I ran the image through my Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square die.

I used patterned papers from  American Crafts Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer Collection. I trimmed down some leftover pieces from previous projects and turned them into banners.

I adhered the patterned papers to a leftover bit of X-Press It, I like things to be all matchy matchy, I then matted that onto a piece of Kraft Cardstock then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base.

I cut the sentiment down from the same patterned paper, trimmed down a piece of black cardstock to mat it onto, I used some Colorbox white ink and inked around the edges, straight from the ink pad, I didn't both using a blending brush or anything as I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. I added some twine behind using some normal sticky tape then adhered it to my card. I have linked up a few different white inks in the picture links below so depending on where you shop there is a few different options on there for you.

I finished my card by using the same pattered paper to decorate the inside of the card.

Once the rest of my card was all complete I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry and left it overnight to dry before packing away in a Cello Bag.

Here's some extra pics for you :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

SSS - Sleepover Club

HI All :-)

Today I have a cute little girl birthday card to share with you, such a sweet card to use as a Birthday Card or just for an I Love you to your Daughter card, or just a special card for a special young lady.

I coloured this image in way back when so I do apologise I don't have a Copic Marker list for you today.

I did stamp the image onto X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black, using my Misti Stamping Tool. I then went in with my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors and fussy cut the image. After I fussy cut her I went around the outside with a Tombow Dual Black Marker.

I used American Crafts pink cardstock, and some American Crafts white cardstock for my matte layers and patterned papers are from American Crafts Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer collection. I cut down the little note piece, and the journal card. I trimmed down one of the top bits with the bows and adhered to the note piece. then I used some leftover bits to create the banners.

The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, I can't find these sentiments so I assume they are retired, they were a Digital Set., I ran this through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die.

I used leftovers of the patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card.

I then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base.

Finally I used some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Summer Sunrise.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

La La Land Crafts - Snorkelling Luka with BIG OOPS at the end :-)

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a card I created using an old retired image from La La Land Crafts, I believe it is called Snorkelling Luka, I coloured him up quite a while ago so I don't have any Copic Marker lists.

I do know I printed him onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer.

I fussy cut the image down using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors, I did cut right down to the line on this one as I didn't want the white border. I did run around the outside of the image using a Dual Tombow Black marker.

I stamped the Celebrating with you sentiment using Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Background, I stamped it onto American Crafts Cardstock using Ink On 3 Watermark Embossing Ink, then used Ranger Ink Super Fine White Embossing Powder. I melted the embossing powder using a Heat Gun. I then ran all the stamps through my Sizzix Big Shot using the matching die set.

The papers are all leftovers from other projects - the blue piece I ran through my Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die - I have linked up a few options for you.

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base Using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive.

Finally I went in with Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin, Caribbean Ocean and Dandelion Yellow... here's where the oops comes in.. the Caribbean Ocean burst out onto my card spraying Nuvo Drops everywhere.. all over our floors, my desk my card and my shirt!

I couldn't save the card or my shirt I was just glad I could get it off our floor boards and my desk.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
