Sending Hugs Mr Fisherman - Digi Stamp Boutique

Hi All,

Today I am pulling out some masculine stamps to create some boy cards. For my image today I am using a Digital Stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique called Cute Fishing Ted, unfortunately this company is no longer around which is quite sad as they were one of the first stamp companies I started purchasing from.

I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer.

I wanted to run the image through my Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die so I needed to first fussy cut the top of his hat so it didn't get chopped off when I ran it through. I used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to do this.

Once I had my image cut out I decided I wanted to pull some Kraft into my card, so I ran some Francheville Kraft Cardstock through my Big Shot using a MFT Stamps Stitched Mini Scallop Circle die.

I cut down some patterned papers from Bella Keepsake Collection (this is a very old collection that I still had in my stash), and matted each layer onto some Kraft Cardstock.

Using a La La Land Crafts die - Bridge I ran it through my Big Shot using some leftover brown card stock I had in my stash.

The Clouds are from MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds dies and I ran them through using some leftover X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

All the stars are leftovers from previous projects, the same with the sending and hugs sentiments.



I adhered all my layers to a Couture Creations Card Base Using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive - this is my go to for liquid adhesives.



Finally I used some leftovers of the same patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card.
