Whimsy Stamps - PC Grant

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you one of the new Whimsy Stamps images from the Digital Release, this is Grant from the Pollycraft collection.

I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die, the top of the balloon was going to be cut off so I carefully fussy cut it using my EK Success Cutterbee scissors, when I ran the die through I carefully slipped it underneath so it wouldn't get cut off.

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers, I used my Colorless Blender to add some details to the image.

I pulled out an old Whimsy Stamp set called Party Mini Letter Seals, I stamped out the birthday sentiment onto some scrap X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn acrylic block. The sentiment needed to be matted so I ran a Lawn Fawn Circle die with some American Crafts Cardstock matted it and adhered it to the image using American Crafts Foam dots.

The patterned papers are from The Craft Stall Mini Stack, and I matted them using American Crafts Cardstock.

I adhered everything to a Couture Creations card base using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

Finally I adhered some leftover stars from EK Success Star Confetti Punch, I used some Wink Of Stella Clear to the balloons and the present to finish them off.
