Whimsy Stamps - Cancer Sucks

Hi Everyone,

These are some of the hardest cards to make but Thankfully I am sharing this card with you to promote a new stamp set and not because I have a person to send this finished card to.

For my card today I have used Cancer Sucks and Caregiver Hugs from Whimsy Stamps, they were both designed by Deb Davis from Amped2Stamp.

Patterned papers I have used are from Basic Grey Mint Julep 6x6, I really love all the different florals that are in this paper pad it makes it a little easier to mix and match.

I stamped the images onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured them up using Copic Markers, I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die and layered it onto a doily using foam dots, I added some clouds to the image from MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds Dies and a Hope Ribbon from an old EK Success Punch using Glue Dots.

I also added a sentiment to the left hand side using some more of the foam dots.

Finally I cut down some of the patterned papers and adhered them to a Couture Creations Card Base using American Tomboy Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I then decorated the inside of the card to match.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
