Whimsy Stamps - Bee Happy - Birthday Bee

So excited,
It's the beginning of the month which means it's New Release time over at Whimsy Stamps, for my new release card I had decided to play with the new Bee Happy Stamps - For my first card I have used Birthday Bee.

I printed the stamp onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, then coloured him up using Copic Markers.

I wanted to run the image through my Big Shot with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die, I knew that part of my image was going to be cut off so I used a Mechanical Pencil to trace the inside of the die. This then gave me an idea of where the die was going to cut my image. So I used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to carefully cut around the bottom of the gift bag, I then slid the die underneath this part of the image so that when I ran it through my Big Shot it would not actually be cut.

Once I ran the image through my Big Shot I used an eraser to get rid of the pencil line and my image was perfect the way it should have been.

I used some plain cardstocks from American Crafts as my matting layers and some patterned papers from Pebbles Inc Spring Fling 6x6 Paper Pad.

I added some sentiments which were cut down from the paper pad, and cut down some small bits of cardstock to use as banners.

Finally I added Wink Of Stella, some white gel pen to give some details and then used Dimensional Magic on the Balloon.
