Avery Elle - Happy Howlidays Snow Day Card 2

Hi Everyone,

Today I have used a stamp set from Avery Elle called Happy Howl-idays, such an adorable little set and it was perfect to get a couple of Christmas Cards made.

I stamped the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn acrylic block.

I then coloured him up using Copic Markers.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp out the snowflakes around the image.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die.

Patterned papers and pop outs are from Kaisercraft Starry Night 6.5" Paper Pad.


I decorated the inside of the card using the same paper pad to match the front of the card.

Art Impressions - Pack your Bags

HI All,

I was commissioned to make this card for a friend of a friend who was after a 70th Birthday Travel Theme.

I thought this stamp set from Art Impressions called Pack Your Bags would be perfect.

I began by stamping out the lady stamp onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black. I then stamped the image onto a Post It Note.  Next I stamped out the cruise ship to the left hand side so it looked like it was in the background of the scene.

I used all the smaller stamps in the stamp set to create a background, I stamped them all out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using the same Memento Tuxedo Black. I decided to watercolour the background of the images using Winsor and Newton Watercolours, I used a Black Velvet Silver Brush Company and just made sure not to add too much water as I wasn't using Watercolour paper.

I added American Crafts card stock to the back of the background piece using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

Finally I moved back on to my image piece, I decided to create more of a scene so I drew in some bricks for the footpath and coloured the water, the sand and the bricks using Copic Markers.

Next I coloured up the images also using Copic Markers.

I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Rhubarb Crumble, Oyster Grey and Neptune Turquoise.

  

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

Have yourself a Merry little holiday - Avery Elle

Hi Everyone,

How sweet is this little guy from Avery Elle, he is Happy Howli-days stamp set.

I stamped him out using a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block onto X-Press It Blending Card Stock and Memento Tuxedo Black.

I used my Copic Markers to colour the images up, I did a bulk batch ready for my next few cards.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle dies.

I used Kaisercraft Starry Night paper pad for the patterned paper layers and matted them onto American Crafts Card Stock.

I adhered a pop out tag from the Kaisercraft paper pad to the right side of my card and added some Whimsy Farm Twine in a bow to the top of it.

I used Ranger Ink Super Fine White Detail Embossing Powder and Ink on 3 Embossing Ink to stamp out and emboss the sentiment.

I used Helmar Acid Free adhesive to adhere all my layers down to a Couture Creations Card Base, and I used 450 Quick Dry to adhere the twine to the pop out tag.

Whimsy Stamps - Christmas Dreaming

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a Christmas Card to share with you for Whimsy Stamps using Christmas Dreaming, this image is in the November Digital Release and has also been previously release as a Rubber Stamp so I will have both of them linked up in the picture links below.

I used the Digital Version of the image so I printed it onto X-Press It Blending Card Stock using my Brother Laser Printer.

  

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers and added extra details using Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen and Wink Of Stella.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Squares Dies. 

I used patterned papers from Kaisercraft Mistletoe 6.5" Paper Pad, the candy stripe was leftover from a previous project so I had already cut the centre out, which didn't matter as I was going to cover it with the image anyway. 

I used one of the sentiment pop outs from the paper pad and fussy cut it down using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors. 

  

I used a piece of American Crafts Black Card Stock as a mat layer and adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free Glue.

Picket Fence - Kind Teacher

Today I am using a stamp set from Picket Fence Studios called You Are A Hoot Owl, or you can find the one I have used individually called Cool Dude.

I stamped him out using Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card Stock and coloured him using Copic Markers.

I used patterned papers from Bo Bunny The Avenues Collection, I trimmed them all using my Cutterpillar Pro and mat layered them onto American Crafts Card stock.

I ran a Simon Says Stamp Teacher wafer die through my Big Shot using some leftover X-Press It Blending Card.

Using Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Dies and Simple Strips Background stamps I stamped and cut out the Kindness sentiment.

I adhered all the layers using Helmar Acid Free Liquid Adhesive and then added all the layers to a Couture Creations card base.

Beebeecraft Haul

Hi Everyone,

I was contacted by www.beebeecraft.com to try out some of their products, they were kind enough to send me a few things.

How cute are these little sequins, they are tiny little stars and would be perfect for shaker cards, one pack is solid stars the other are open stars.

This red twine is a waxed cotton cord, I thought it would be cute to wrap around my cards instead of using normal bakers twine, something to give my cards a little texture.

Lastly the wobbly eyes, you just can't go wrong :-)

CC Designs - Snow Joy Card 1

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a card I created using a stamp from CC Designs called Snow Joy, this stamp has been around for a while so I will do my best to get links up for you.

I stamped the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool and Memento Tuxedo Black.

I then used my Copic Markers to colour the image up. I did end up making 2 cards with the 2 images I coloured up so I will hopefully have another card to share with you tomorrow.

Using Kaisercraft Mistletoe 6.5" Paper Pad I cut a few layers up using my Cutterpillar Pro, I bannered some pieces using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I pulled in some American Crafts card stock to use as layers and also added a doily from my stash.

I added a pop out sentiment from the paper pad and adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations card base using Helmar Acid Free adhesive.

Finally I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Metallic Soft Mint and added some to the front of the card, I also added some Wink Of Stella to the letters.

I used leftovers of the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card.
