La La Land Crafts - Cowboy Luka

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you some pencil colouring, the rubber stamp I have used is Cowboy Boots Luka from La La Land Crafts.

There is a sale on over at La La Land Crafts at the moment, so don't forget to add this Sale code when you are checking out. November 24-29 2020 Only.

This is a brand new rubber stamp to me so I peeled the backing paper off and used my Tim Holtz Red Scissors to trim the stamp up. I stamped the image on some scrap cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black using my Mini Misti Stamping Tool. You will see in the video that I repeat stamped him a few times because there was so much texture in the cardstock I was using.

I used Prismacolor Pencils to colour the image up, then I used Blending Solution to blend the pencil out.

Fussy Cutting the image was super easy using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

Now I needed to put my card together, for that I used a Couture Creation Card Base and a few scrap papers from my my bucket - I actually didn't open up any new sheets for this card.

I ran some white cardstock through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die which I then ran through my new EK Success Paper Crimper.

Using Helmar Acid Free adhesive I started adhering all the layers together, I added some stars from MFT Stamps Star Stax dies and a number 4 from MFT Stamps Big Numbers dies.

I also stamped out a sentiment "Howdy" from the Cowboy Boots Luka Stamp Set.

Once all my layers were adhered I decorated the inside of my card using all the same papers.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Penguins Decorate Erin Condren Planner

HI Everyone,

Today I have created a planner layout for you using Penguins Decorate The Tree from Whimsy Stamps which you can purchase in Rubber Form here and Digital Form here, my planner today is an Erin Condren Vertical Planner

I would really appreciate if you are going to purchase a planner from Erin that you use my affiliate link here as that will give both of us a $10 credit to them.

I'm hoping when this video goes live Black Friday Sales will still be on, If not, their items are a great price anyway.

I printed the image onto PPS Sticker Paper which I purchased from our local stationary shop, I then fussy cut the image using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I coloured the image up using Prismacolor Pencils, I will have a full list below of all the pencils I have used, then I coated some sections in Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.

I created some Christmas Sentiments of my computer using some fonts I downloaded, I also printed these onto the same sticker paper, then trimmed the sentiments down using my Tim Holtz Guillotine.

I used lots of stickers from my 2020 Erin Condren and also from previous years EC Planners, I recoiled all my old planners and took out the pages I didn't use (including the stickers) and put them into my current planner.

Using some old washi tapes (seriously some of them must be like 10 years old haha), I decorate the pages in my planner then added in my image and sentiments.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Retirement Golfer

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog for all my new visitors and welcome back to all my followers.

Today I am sharing with you a card I created for Whimsy Stamps using a Digital Stamp called Dragon Golf from the Dustin Pike Collection.

I love using Digital Stamps because you can print them and resize them to fit your project.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock (to make it Copic Safe) using my Brother Laser Printer, I then trimmed it down using my Cutterpillar Pro Trimmer. I also printed a Digital Sentiment Set- Everyday Banner Sentiments also from Whimsy Stamps using the same X-Press It Blending Card (I like all my whites to be the same).

Using my Copic Markers I coloured the image up and drew on some grass.

I cut down some scrap cardstock from my bucket then used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a Mini Ink Blending Tool to ink up the background.

I added some droplets of Ink On 3 Pixie Dust then soaked up the excess using a paper towel, it gives that water look with a little glitter.

I ran this piece through my Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle dies, I then layed some scrap pieces over the back and adhered them using Helmar Acid Free adhesive.

I cut down the sentiment  using my Trimmer and adhered it to the image.

Using some leftover green cardstock  that I had previously cut some grass out of I used it as a stencil and blended on some grass to the bottom of the image.

I love the way the card turned out and I hope you guys too :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - SOG - Bearded Hipster Cat

Welcome Everyone :-)

Today I am sharing with you Bearded Hipster Cat from Whimsy Stamps and Designed by Some Odd Girl Stamps.

This is a Digital Stamp so I have printed him onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer.

Using my EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors, I fussy cut the image leaving just a small border around the outside. The trick to smooth fussy cutting is to move the cardstock rather than the scissors.

I coloured the image using Copic Markers.

I ran a small piece of X-Press It Blending Cardstock through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die, I then ran the larger of the circle dies through using some American Crafts Cardstock.

I adhered the circles to each other using Helmar acid Free Adhesive, then adhered the image to the right side using the same adhesive.

I cut down a mat layer of the black American Crafts Cardstock using my Cutterpillar Pro and adhered that to a Couture Creations Card Base.

Using Whimsy Stamps Great Outdoors Digital Paper I cut down a piece of the black and white squares and adhered it to the American Crafts mat layer using Scotch ATG, then adhered the circles/image layer.

I stamped out the "You're Awesome" sentiment from an old retired stamp set of Whimsy Stamps called Friendship Notables onto some scrap blue cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block. I fussy cut it using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors then adhered this to the left of the image using Helmar Acid Free adhesive.

Finally I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry to finish the card off.

I decorated the inside of the card to match the front.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Penguins Decorate The Tree

Hi Everyone,

It's New Release Week over at Whimsy Stamps and today I am super excited to share with you a Christmas Card I have created using Penguins Decorate The Tree.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock and coloured it up using Copic Markers.

I added extra details using a white Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen and a Clear Wink Of Stella Brush.

Using some Digital Papers from Whimsy Stamps Great Outdoors Collection. My printer is running out of ink but I love the way the papers turned out. I printed them onto Copy Paper so it wasn't super thick.

I ran the black and white squares paper through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die.

I ran Kaisercraft Lowercase script letters through my Sizzix Big Shot using scraps of American Crafts Cardstock and some red cardstock from my leftovers bucket.

I stamped out a Merry Christmas Sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Rudolph Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black onto some blue scrap paper.

I adhered all the big layers onto a Couture Creations Card Base using Scotch ATG and the alphas I adhered using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
