Whimsy Stamps - PC Bunny

Welcome to my blog,

I have a sweet image from Whimsy Stamps to share with you today, this is PC Bunny, isn't is gorgeous :-)

She is a digital stamp so I printed her onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer and coloured her up using Copic Markers.

I ran an MFT Stamps die called Puffy Clouds through my Sizzix Big Shot using some leftover white cardstock, I then added two of the clouds to the sides of the image, I then ran this piece back through using a Stitched Square die from Lawn Fawn, this way the stitches went through the clouds and finished them off also.

I used patterned papers from Basic Grey Mint Julep to create the layers, which I had cut on my Cutterpillar Pro. I used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to banner the edges, I also added doily in between the layers. I adhered everything to a Couture Creations Card base using Scotch ATG.

I decided to add a sentiment using Handmade By Me from Whimsy Stamps, I used a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block and Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp my sentiment onto a leftover piece of white cardstock, I then used my Tim Holtz Guillotine to cut the sentiment down to size and my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to banner the edge.

Whimsy Stamps - Noah's Ark Baby Shower

Hi Everyone,

Recently one of the girls from work had her baby shower, her and her husband are having a baby boy and I wanted to make a card for the occasion.

This Noah's Ark image was perfect for her card, I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured it up using Copic Markers.

Patterned Papers are from Sugar and Spice Studio Baby Boy Collection.

I used a sentiment from MFT Stamps Welcome, Baby, I popped it onto a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block and inked it up using Memento Tuxedo Black.

I added details to the image using Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen.

Whimsy Stamps - PC Chickie

Good Morning All,

As the weather is starting to cool down here in Australia it is time to start pulling out the jumpers.. brr.

Today I am sharing with you an Easter Card.. hard to believe we are almost at Easter Again, not just that but this weekend is our 1 year Wedding Anniversary which is pretty exciting.

This is PC Chickie, isn't she just the sweetest hanging out with her little Chick Buddy.

I printed the image onto X- Press It Blending Card Stock using my Brother Laser Printer then coloured up using Copic Markers, I will have all the markers listed below and links to where you can purchase as part of the picture links below.

I used patterned papers from Basic Grey Mint Julep Collection, plain card stocks are from Kaisercraft and American Crafts. I cut them all down to size using Cutterpilar Pro.

I grabbed a doily from my stash and some polka dot ribbon to finish the card off.

I adhered all the large layers using Scotch ATG and the bow for the ribbon I adhered using American Tombow Mono Multi liquid adhesive.

I adhered all the layers to a Pre-Made Card Base from Couture Creations and finally i added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Carnation Pink, English Mustard and Caribbean Ocean.

Whimsy Stamps - Beau and Bashful

Hey Everyone, Today I have some super sweetness to share with you.. this is Beau and Bashful from Whimsy Stamps how gorgeous are they :-) They are available to purchase in both Digital and Rubber Stamp Form.

I have used the Digital version today but whether you go one or the other it doesn't matter the image is still all the same.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock then ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle dies. I then proceeded to colour the image up using Copic Markers. 

I ran a MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds Die through my Big Shot using some American Crafts Card Stock.

Patterned papers are from Amy Locurto Rainbow 6x6 Paper Pad, I also used a rainbow which was on the top of one of the papers which I had fussy cut using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors. I in the end covered the left cloud using a puffy cloud die cut.

I had some little hearts that were leftover from another project, I adhered these and the sentiment and the clouds using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive and a Silhouette Pick Me Up Tool because the hearts were so small. 

Finally I adhered all the larger layers to a Couture Creations Pre-Made Card Base. I coated the unicorn horn, the hearts and the rainbow in Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.

Kindred Stamps - Midnight Movie

Hey Everyone,

Today I am working with Kindred Stamps "Midnight Movie" Stamp Set, I loved this little lady in the stamp set and thought it would be cute to make a card and a bookmark to match.

I stamped the image out onto some X-Press It Blending Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

I coloured the image using Copic Markers, I will have all these listed below.

Patterned Papers are from Authentique Gathering Collection, I cut them using my Cutterpillar Pro then I created some of the off cuts into banners using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors. I then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base.

I finally added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and some flowers and a button and my card was complete.

I then decided to create a bookmark to go with it, I coloured it pretty much exactly the same colours. I ran an MFT Tall Tag through my Sizzix Big Shot, added a heart sticker and some Nuvo Crystal Drops and created my own tassel.
I then added a sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black, finally I adhered a second bookmark die cut to the back so that you cannot see the ink.

Time For Tea or Coffee

How sweet is this image from Time For Tea Designs

I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock, coloured her up using Copic Markers then fussy cut her using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

Patterned papers were from a paper pad from The Craft Stall - one of the mini stacks. I used some Reflex Colour Paper in the pink to mat it as it was the closest colour I could find in my stash.

I cut everything to size using Fiskars Surecut Trimmer and adhered them using Scotch ATG.

Using a Stitched Circle die from Lawn Fawn I cut on piece of the patterned paper then ran a smaller one through using some Mondi Color Copy white cardstock.

I was in the middle of another project using the Kindred Stamps Gday stamp set so used the Happy Birthday from that and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block to stamp the sentiment out with Memento Tuxedo Black.

Finally I adhered all the layers onto a Couture Creations card base which I had creased using a bone folder.

Today I would like to share another of the New Release images from Whimsy Stamps, this is Easter Bunny, so so cute and adorable I love it :-)

I printed him onto X-Press it Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, now just so you know this image is available in Digital form and Rubber Stamp, I will have them both linked up below in the picture links.

Using Copic Markers I coloured the image up and added some details using Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen and Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.

I used pattered papers from The Craft Stall paper pad and a doily from my stash. I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creation Pre-Made Card base then finally added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush, Duck Egg Blue and Silver Mondust.

Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Loves Bunny

Hey Everyone,

As the end of month starts wind around, we are working with the last of the March release for Whimsy Stamps. This is one of my favourites and I was super excited to share it, with so many awesome new images it was so hard to decide which ones to use first. This is Penguin Loves Bunny.

I printed the image onto X-Press it Blending Cards using my Brother Laser Printer. I cut the image down using my Cutterpillar Pro.

I used some patterned papers from my stash, the paper pad is currently in hiding in my craft room haha.

I added a doily from Kaisercraft between the image and the patterned papers. I used some Lawn Fawn Hatchlings dies which I ran through my Sizzix Big Shot using some leftovers from the patterned paper pad, I adhered them to my card using American Tombow Mono Multi. For the bigger papers I used Scotch ATG.

I added a mat layer of American Crafts White Cardstock and some purple cardstock from Kaisercraft.. I then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card base. At this stage I thought I had finished the card, but the more I looked at it the more I decided it needed a sentiment, so I used a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Handmade From Me stamp set and some Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the sentiment in the top corner.

Whimsy Stamps - Easter Bonnie

Hey Everyone,

Can you believe how close to Easter it is already! I am so excited to be creating Easter Cards at the moment, they are one of my favourite Holiday Themed cards to make.

I printed this darling image out with my Brother Laser Printer onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock, she is available as both a rubber stamp and a Digital Stamp for those of you who like to have options.

I then coloured her up using Copic Markers which I will have listed below.

I added some dotted details using Uni-Ball Signo White Angelic Gel Pen, I also added some Wink Of Stella to give it some shine.

I fussy cut the banner out using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors I then used a dual ended Tombow Marker to run around the edge.

I trimmed the image down using my Cutterpillar Pro. I used some patterned papers from Crafter's Choice Princess 12x12 Paper Pad. The plain coloured card stocks I used for the matting are from American Crafts and the Kraft Cardstock is from Francheville (I have a few different companies listed incase you can't find it).

I then added all my layers to a Couture Creations Cardbase using Scotch ATG, The banner I added using Scotch Foam Tape.

Lastly to finished off my card I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow.

I also decorated the inside of my card to match.

Kindred Stamps - Let's Stick Together and Create a Bookmark

Today I am sharing with you a bookmark I created for Kindred Stamps using Stick Together.

I have a video for you showing how I created the bookmark and also a bonus how to at the end of the video showing you step by step how I created my own Tassel for my bookmark.

I used a die from MFT Stamps called Tall Tag Duo which I ran through my Sizzix Big Shot sing X-Press It Blending Card to create my bookmark shapes.

I then used Lawn Fawn Round Acrylic Blocks and Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped the images out onto the bookmark shapes. I coloured the images using Copic Markers then added some white detail using Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen.

I cut a second bookmark and adhered that to the back of the coloured one using American Tombow Mono Multi to cover all the Copic Colouring that bled through the back of the card stock.

Finally using some crochet twine I created my own tassel and attached it to my bookmark.

So here is a few notes before I get started, as stated this is my first time (seriously fresh out of the box for this card) so please be nice hehe, also I did not use the paints on watercolour paper, this is my usual X-Press It Blending Cardstock. I couldn't find my watercolour paper but really wanted to try out my new goodies. I may have been a little excited :-)

I started by using my new Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink, this ink is seriously amazing. I also used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiments out in my Misti Stamping Tool. I used my Silver Brush Company Black Velvet Number 2 Round Brush to paint my images. (Another thing I have been hoarding.. I think I ordered these when we were on our honeymoon almost 12 months ago).

I used my Uni-ball Signo white gel pen to add some details to the images, then used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to fussy cut the images.

The patterned papers are from Echo Park Head Over Heels 6x6 Paper Pad. I used my ATG to adhere all the bigger pieces using Scotch ATG and the smaller pieces using American Tombow Mono Multi.

Everything was then adhered to a Couture Creations Card Base.

Whimsy Stamps - Bart on St Paddy's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day Everyone :-)

As we wind down the last few hours of St Pat's Day here in Australia, I have one more card to share with you for Whimsy Stamps.

This gorgeous stamp is available in Rubber and Digi which is really great, as I know some people like one more than the other. Links will be available below the post.

I used the Digital version of the image, so I printed him out using my Brother Laser Printer onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock then coloured him up using Copic Markers.

I do have a You Tube video for you to watch today, just of the colouring though no card process today.

I used patterned papers from Pebbles Party with Amy Locurto Rainbow Collection.

I used dies from Lawn Fawn to cut the image and the papers.

Everything was then adhered to a Couture Creations Card Base.
