Love is in the air

Just the one card for today's crafty efforts, we had a tree trimmer guy come out tonight to give us a quote on having 3 huge trees cut down in our yard as very large pieces have been falling off and thankfully haven't hit any of us yet, they are getting more frequent and larger so the last thing we want is for one of the kids or fur babies to get hurt.

We have approved their price and he is going to see if he can squeeze us in next week if not it will be the week after, im so excited our yard is going to be so much bigger and hopefully wont be as dry with them not there. Oh.. and hopefully less Harry the Huntsmans!! yuck!

Anyway, today I was playing with some new stamps from CC Designs called Love Is In The Air and the sentiments are part of the same set. Papers are from Sweethearts.

Unicorns Capture the Magic

Good Afternoon, it is 3.35pm here is Sydney Australia. I have just picked my son up from his last day of school for the year, can't believe year 4 is finished. Next year my baby will be starting kindergarten and I will have 2 at school :-(

So nice at our school, all the grades do a tunnel to the front of the school for the year 6 kids who are moving onto high school (high school here starts at year 7). So lots of tears.. not from me this year lol.

Anyway, onto cards..

I made this card yesterday using my new stamps from CC Design, this is the Once Upon Stamp Set, they are so adorable! They are available in both rubber and digital form.

Look Hoo is Turning 1

A gorgeous girly card today :-)

Must say I had a lot of fun with this one, my first girly owl card!

A first birthday card ordered from a lady I used to work with, who loves my personal touch :-)

Request was 1st Birthday, Pink, and Owls, so I think I met all those requirements and she absolutely loves it. Said it was a "such a beautiful keepsake"

I am so happy today and these comments just made it all just that little bit better :-)
For those of you who have been keeping up with my blog, my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She had surgery yesterday and is doing really well :-)

Make It Crafty Card

Another cold day here in Sydney Australia. I have the gas heater going, it's only on low at the moment as I have already warmed the house.

Whats on the go today.. I just finished another girly card, really need to go and get some groceries.

So today I have used 2 Make it Crafty images.

The first one is Sitting Jane and the second is the Butterfly Swing.
Sititng Jane is also available in a rubber stamp.

I have merged these two images in Microsoft Word and have created one image. This is the first time I have done this so bare with me lol.

I have also started taking my pictures in a different way so hope you like them :-)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I really enjoyed colouring these images and putting this card together, as I do with most of my girly cards.

New Baby Boy Card

Good Afternoon all,

Well I am feeling very happy with myself right now, I have just a card order from a friend of a repeat customer, something that can put you on a high for the day :-)

There is no requirements other than for it to be a Baby Boy card, as much as I love boy cards bring on some girl ones lol.

I will be using one of my favourite digital stamps on this card, one from CC Designs, a cute little giraffe that I have used a few times before.

I have been very busy trying to get a special card ready for the Fitztown DT Challenge. The theme for this one is "Anything Goes". I have a very cute card ready to go :-)

Meet Elena,

Yawn Yawn Yawn

Well it is 10.52pm and I have been pulling a few late ones the last few nights, and yet again here I am lol. Tomorrow is back to school for my 8 year old, and he is not looking forward to it at all poor kid!

Anyway, I was going through all the blogs that I follow and noticed that Scrapbook Stamp Society had a competition on their blog using one of their stamps, I now have a couple so thought I would enter, can't hurt to try hey! So, you have to use one of their images and use a punchies or die. I can so do this! So off I go to enter challenge #16.
