You're Perfect - Blog Hop Collaboration Kindred Stamps & BDD

Hey Everyone,

Today I am super excited to be part of a Blog Hop Collaboration between Kindred Stamps and Beth Duff Designs.

I was lucky enough to work with Perfect Nanny from Kindred Stamps and Adventure's Abroad from BDD.

I fussy cut the images using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors and coloured them up using Copic Markers. I will have all those listed below the blog post.

I cut a few elements - a road die and some clouds, using some leftover card stock the other images are part of the stamp sets.

I created the flag myself so please excuse the non perfectness haha.. I did my best :-)

The card base is from Couture Creations, I layered a stencil over the top of the card base and used Ranger Distress Inks in Broken China and Squeezed Lemonade and some Mini Blending Tools to blend the ink over top. I did use some post it notes to mask off the bottom section of the card before I blended.

All the elements I added to the card using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

Finally using some Wink Of Stella Clear to add some glitter to the umbrella, bag, flower and bow tie.

Welcome to Heartcraft Paper - With a Blog Hop

Welcome :-)

It is the start of the first month of Heartcraft Paper so we are starting off with a Blog Hop, we are all so excited to be here on this Design Team sharing all our new projects with you.

Here is the New Release I have worked with for this month.

I have created a card using Gemma.

I printed her out on Mondi Color Copy 250GSM, I coloured her using Copic Markers (Listed below), I then ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a My Favorite Things Stitched Rounded Rectangle die.

I used a patterned paper pad from Doodlebug Design Inc called Day to Day, I cut a few sheets on my Cutterpillar Pro, then trimmed some pieces into banners using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I then cut a matt layer from American Crafts Red Card stock, I adhered the patterned sheets using Scotch ATG, I then added the image using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I used one of the leftovers from the patterned papers to create a small banner for next to the sentiment.

I added a die cut word from a My Favorite Things die which I cut using Canson Card stock on Sizzix Big Shot. Everything was then adhered to a Twiddleybitz Card Base, I also always decorate the insides of my cards using leftover product.

Treasured Times CHA 2015 Blog Hop Party

Welcome aboard Michele!!! We're so excited to be working with you!

Michele designs patterned paper for card making and she's extremely talented!  I've admired her work for some time, and some of our design team members have been using her digital papers for quit a while before we brought her on board with us. 

Michele's Bio:

I live on the west coast of Ireland in a place called Co Kerry where I live

with my very understanding Hubby, 3 children (2 boys & 1 girl) 2 cats and a dog. I've been crafting for most of life - whether it's cross-stitching, knitting, crocheting but for the past 8 years now I've been card making. I always loved my papers especially the floral designs and I hated cutting into them (I know it's crazy) as I didn't want to run out of my favourite. So one day I started playing about on my computer with creating some designs and I liked how they turned out. And as the saying goes the rest is history.
