Book Review - The Perfect Boyfriend by Renee Novelle and a Giveaway

Hi Everyone :-)

Thanks for coming by today, I have a book review (which I haven't done in a while) for you. Today I am reviewing The Perfect Boyfriend #2 by Renee Novelle.

The Perfect Boyfriend #2
Renee Novelle

Excerpt

The Perfect Boyfriend picks up right where we left Reagan and Ian in The Boyfriend List.
As their friendship blossoms quickly into a steamy romance, Reagan and Ian have to learn to navigate their shifting relationship...and everything that entails. But their newfound bliss doesn’t come without a few unexpected challenges.
In the midst of realizing just how sweet the romance can be between them, and all the benefits of their new dynamic, Reagan is informed that her ideal situation has changed. Not only will she need to begin taking on more classes to speed up her graduation date, but she’ll also have to start looking for a job to supplement her fading income. Meanwhile, Ian has chosen to pull out of school once his father is diagnosed with a terminal illness in order to help manage the family business and spend time with him while he still can. But he wrestles with the guilt of leaving Reagan behind, and the pressure of his new responsibilities.

As the two meet their new challenges head-on, they’ll be forced to discover whether or not they’re as compatible as lovers as they were as friends. With their focus pulled in so many directions, will they have what it takes to keep a long distance relationship alive? Can Ian prove that he’s still be the perfect boyfriend, or will they fold to statistics under the growing tensions of their lives? Throw in some manipulative exes, a new boss with an inflated ego, and a co-worker from hell and the two have a recipe for either a fairy tale ending, or a complete disaster.

The Perfect Boyfriend is a New Adult Romance about trust, love, and discovering the true depths of personal strength.

Review

Wow, I really loved this book, it felt like it went quick, but all the story was there..it didn't drag on for you to get to the story. Reagan and Ian seem to work out their kinks and things fall into place. I love that you get to read this as a follow on from The Boyfriend List, but I also like for someone like me who sometimes picks up a book not realising there is a Prequel you can catch on.
I really love knowing that this story is left open for another book if the author decides to.

For those of you who are big readers you all know too well about those books that you can't put down and you stay up reading til midnight just so you can read those last fifty pages.. I am definitely one of those and I would add this book to that category.

Late night colouring

Hi everyone!

Just a quick pop in post, I have been so busy lately trying to find a house that I haven't been crafting much other than orders (which I haven't been taking notes on) which will post up later on in the week when I have a chance to do a full blog post.

Tonight I have been doing so colouring and watching movies.. Trying to take my mind off missing my kids lol. Yes they fight like crazy when they are home but when they are not here I miss them.

I purchased some new Cc designs stamps a few days ago (yes I forgot to post that didn't I.. Oops.

My aunt has been asking me to start getting ideas ready for her daughters teacher at the end of the year. I had forgotten to order these stamps with my last big order so had to do a separate one just for these.

I purchased

This was only a small order as like I said I forgot to order these ones.

I will add the links later on today after I have a nap.. It's 12.28am and I haven't been up this late in a long time so my eyes are now fighting being awake. Here is a couple of pics of what I have been colouring tonight and last night :-)

I hope you like them, I am hoping to get them onto cards tomorrow, but whether that happens is another story.

See you in blogger land again soon,

Deni x

A day on the beach wih ice-cream

Good Morning :-)

It is quite cold here in Sydney, Australia but today I have a beachy card for you, warmed me up a little while making it lol.

There is two images on this card that I have merged together, they are both from Digi Stamp Boutique. I have used Beach Hut and Beach Isla.

Both Images have been coloured using Copic Markers purchased from Craft-a-Lot and Craftonline.

The merged images have both been coloured using Copic Markers. I couldn't find my list that I wrote, but I do remember the hair on Beach Isla was E50, E53, E55 as I had to refill my e53 while I was colouring :-)

Papers used were from Francheville called Tangerine Flowers (I have used front and reverse) Everything else was done on a whim so I don't have anything written down.

Thanks for stopping by,
