DSB - Just A Boy, his skateboard and his pets

Good Morning Everyone, 

Today I am creating a card using an image from a company called Digi Stamp Boutique (or DSB), this company is no longer around unfortunately because I loved all the stamps so much.

As you may know I have been trying to work my way through my pile of already coloured up images, so it sue that I can't share this image with you all to purchase.. I don't like sharing things that are no longer available however I can't not use these images as they mean too much to me. 

This company was one of my favourite stamp companies when I was first starting out, they had such a great variety of images and I purchased so many of them.

The image would have been printed onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock as that's what I have always used for my Copic Markers. This image is old so more than likely would have been printed using my old Canon Pixma Printer which was Copic friendly. I haven't tried out my new printer that I got this week yet, but I will let you know if it is Copic safe when I get to it.. I literally picked it up a few days ago and plugged it in yesterday, I haven't used it yet.

Back to the card, I coloured the image using Copic Markers, being that this was coloured a while ago it wouldn't have been recorded which markers I was using, I've learnt my lesson and I now attach the list to every image I colour. 

I ran the image through my Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square die.

I used patterned papers from  American Crafts Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer Collection. I trimmed down some leftover pieces from previous projects and turned them into banners. 

I adhered the patterned papers to a leftover bit of X-Press It, I like things to be all matchy matchy, I then matted that onto a piece of Kraft Cardstock then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base. 

I cut the sentiment down from the same patterned paper, trimmed down a piece of black cardstock to mat it onto, I used some Colorbox white ink and inked around the edges, straight from the ink pad, I didn't both using a blending brush or anything as I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. I added some twine behind using some normal sticky tape then adhered it to my card. I have linked up a few different white inks in the picture links below so depending on where you shop there is a few different options on there for you.

I finished my card by using the same pattered paper to decorate the inside of the card. 

Once the rest of my card was all complete I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry and left it overnight to dry before packing away in a Cello Bag.

DSB - Flower Vase

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a card I created using a retired stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, unfortunately this company has now closed up.

I coloured this image up a while ago and finally got it onto a card :-)

The Image had already been run through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die.

I used patterned papers from Pebbles Inc. Ever After Collection, this is a very old paper collection that I have recently been working my way through to get it finished up. 

I trimmed some pieces down using my Ek Success Cutterbee Scissors to create banners.

I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops in Summer Sunrise to the bottom and top corners of the card. 

Then I printed a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Everyday Banner Sentiments, I trimmed this down using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors and adhered it to the bottom of the flower pot piece. 

I cut down a layer of pink cardstock, I am unsure of what brand it is from as it was from my scraps bin. I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base Using Helmar Acid Free Liquid Adhesive.

I used some leftover pieces of the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card, added some white gel pen details to the image, then finally went back and added some Derivan Kindyglitz in Crystallina to the flowers.

Digi Stamp Boutique - 70th Birthday Flowers

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a 70th Birthday Card I made for a lady using a Digital Stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, unfortunately this company is no longer around so I will make this a short and sweet blog post just sharing a video with you.

The image was printed onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock then coloured up using Copic Markers. I added some details with a white pen then ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot using a MFT Stamps Mini Scallop Circle Stax die. 

  

I used Big Numbers dies from MFT Stamps to create the 70 on the card, I finished these off by adding some details using a Uni-Ball white gel pen.

I decorate the inside of the card using leftover of the patterned papers.

Digi Stamp Boutique - Cocktail Imogen

Hi All,

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using an old image from Digi Stamp Boutique called Cocktail Imogen. Unfortunately this company is no longer around so I am unable to tag this image for purchase.

I printed the image using X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer. I then coloured her up using Copic Markers.

I used patterned papers from Creative Paper Stack, this is some old papers I've had in my stash for a long time, not something that is still available to purchase unfortunately.

I used sentiments from Taylored Expressions which were stamped out using Memento Tuxedo Black onto some leftover X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I added some Stars which were cut out using dies from MFT Stamps.

The image is cut out using Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two which I ran through my Sizzix Big Shot.

Digi Stamp Boutique - Gym Molly

Hello Everyone :-)

As I work through my tub of stamped out / printed out images I find myself colouring a lot of Digi Stamp Boutique Images, unfortunately this company is no longer around which means that I can't link up any of these images. But I want to share them with you anyway :-)

This image was printed out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock then coloured using Copic Markers.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two.

Patterned papers are from American Crafts Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer.

I cut one of the sentiments down from the paper pad and bannered it up using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I decorated the inside of the card using the same patterned papers and adhered all the layers using Helmar.

DSB - BBQ Alf

Hi All,

I have a quick video for you, today I am sharing with you BBQ Alf from Digi Stamp Boutique, unfortunately this company is no longer around so I can't share the image links with you.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer and coloured the image using Copic Markers.

I used patterned papers from Kaisercraft Garage Days 6.5" Paper Pad, this is one of my favourite paper pads for male cards.

I inked up all the layers using Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo using a Mini Ink Distress Blending Tool.

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free Liquid Adhesive, for the little tags I used Helmar Scrap Dots, this stuff is great, it's like liquid foam dots.

Digi Stamp Boutique Cute Tennis Ted

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a Digital Image from Digi Stamp Boutique called Cute Tennis Ted, unfortunately this company is no longer around so you will not be able to purchase this image. I had him coloured up in my tray of images and I have been trying to work my way through them all and get them onto cards :-)

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, I then ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles. I coloured the image up using Copic Markers.

Using papers from Bella! My Romance collection, I trimmed down some layers and matted them onto American Crafts Cardstock.

I used an old Fiskars border punch to punch a strip using leftovers of the matting card stock and and adhered this down the left side of the patterned papers.

I added some EK Success Star Confetti to the corners of my card.


  

The Happy die cut I'm not sure where it is from off the top of my head as it was out of my little leftovers tray, the Birthday word is from Honey Bee Stamps Hooray stamp set, I stamped it out using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

  

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free.

I used leftover of the same papers to decorate the inside of the card.
