Whimsy Stamps - Dragon's BBQ

Hi Everyone,

I had so much fun creating this card today, using Dragon's BBQ from Whimsy Stamps and Dustin Pike I put together this super gorgeous card.

I printed the image using my Brother Laser Printer onto X-Press it Blending Cardstock, then coloured it up using Copic Markers.

I trimmed the image down using my Cutterpillar Pro, then pulling out a 6x6 Paper Pad from Kaisercraft's Mountain Air Collection. I used some of the pop outs, and a few different patterned papers.

I ran one of the patterned paper sheets through my Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle dies and slid that behind the images, I also used some leftover Francheville Kraft Cardstock to separate some of the patterned papers.

I cut down some of the pop outs so they fit into my card a little better.

I used some Francheville Kraft Cardstock to mat all my patterned papers, then adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar acid free liquid adhesive.

I used some leftover American Crafts Cardstock to cut down some banners and I cut some stars using my EK Success Star Confetti Punch.

I used leftovers of the patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card to match.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Stack

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a card I have created for Whimsy Stamps using some of Crissy Armstrong's images, these are Digital Stamps and are part of the Penguin Slider Collection.

I loved these little guys when I seen them and to me I thought they would look funny playing "Stacks On" whilst playing around on the lounge-room floor.

I used my Computer programs to merge all the images together, they are PNG files so this was actually a really easy thing to do.

I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, I then coloured the images up using Copic Markers then finished them off using Uni-Ball White Gel Pen.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval Die.

Using some Digital Papers from Whimsy Stamps Winter's Magic Blue Papers I printed them onto some Copy Paper using my Canon Pixma printer.

I also printed sentiments from Everyday Banner Sentiments onto some X-Press it blending paper (just because that's what was in my printer at the time.

I trimmed all the papers down using my Cutterpillar Pro, then matted them onto some American Crafts Cardstock. I used my Scotch ATG to adhere the layers.. normally I use liquid adhesive however because I only used Copy paper I needed to use tape runner.

I punched out some stars from EK Success just using some leftover white cardstock, which I adhered using some Helmar Acid Free Liquid Adhesive.

I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops - Duck Egg Blue and Sea Breeze to finish my card off.

Finally I used leftovers of the patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card to match.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Don't Be Fooled By The Angel

Hi Everyone,

For my card today I am using a Digital Stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Don't Be Fooled, such a funny image, I love it.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer, I also printed some sentiments - Everyday Banner Sentiments also from Whimsy Stamps.

The patterned papers I have used are also from Whimsy Stamps, they are from the Flourishing Blooms and Distressed Polka Dot Digital Paper Collections, I printed these onto some Copy Paper using my Canon Pixma printer - as I needed them in colour.

I coloured my image up using Copic Markers, and added some extra details using a white Uni-Ball Gel Pen, I love using a white pen to add extra details to clothing and other parts of images to help pop them off the card and keep the image in focus.

Using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot, I used some washi tape to hold it down so it didn't move and I didn't ruin my image.

I cut the papers down using my Cutterpillar Pro, and adhered them together using Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive. I used a sun die cut from an old retired Lawn Fawn die, and added some MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds (all I had pre cut out from previous projects).

I trimmed down two of the sentiments from the Everyday Banner Sentiments that I printed earlier using my trimmer, I used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to cut them down and banner up. I roughed them up a little using my nail so they didnt stand out so much.

I adhered all the layers using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive, finally I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base.

I used leftover patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card to match.

MFT Stamps - Star Graduate

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having an awesome day, today I am sharing with you a card I made using some products from MFT Stamps.

I used the Graduation Accent die set and Star Graduate Stamp Set.

I ran the Graduation Hat through my Sizzix Big Shot using American Crafts black cardstock, I used Helmar Scrap Dots to layer it up and give it some dimension, I also added some Wink Of Stella Clear.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto a Couture Creations Card Base using my Misti Stamping Tool and some Memento Tuxedo Black ink, this was the first time using this stamp set so I did have to stamp it a few times to get a clear crisp sentiment (even more after I dropped my ink pad on it and had to start again haha).

I prepared the cardstock using a EK Success Powder Tool, then stamped the stars using Ink On 3 Embossing Ink, added Ranger Ink Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder which I then melted using my heat gun.

I ran the Class of through my Big Shot, and the little strip dies, I added the 2020 using my Uni-Ball white gel pen.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Momma

Hi All,

Today I am sharing with you Penguin Momma from Whimsy Stamps, Crissy Armstrong is such an awesome Designer and rocks all things Penguin plus much much more.

This is a Digital Stamp so I printed it out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer. I then coloured it up using Copic Markers.

I used a white Uni-Ball Signo white gel pen to add details to my image, I love the way the little blanket turned out.

I printed out Everyday Banner Sentiments and Flourishing Blooms using my printer as they are also digital files from Whimsy Stamps

I trimmed the patterned papers down to create two layers and I matted those onto some black American Crafts Cardstock using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive. I then adhered these layers to a Couture Creations card base.

I added a doily on top of the patterned papers then the trimmed image on top of that.

I used an EK Success Star Confetti Punch, some leftovers of X-Press It Blending Cardstock and punched out some stars , I adhered these to my card then coated them in Wink Of Stella Clear.

Finally I trimmed down the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from the Everyday Banner Sentiments that I printed earlier and adhered that using Helmar Acid Free.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

MFT Stamps - Best of Luck Year 7 2021

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have a nice quick video for you showing you how I made this Best Of Luck for Year 7 card for a friend who's nephew is starting High School next year.

I used MFT Stamps Graduation Sentiment Set and also the Lightbulb dies from MFT Stamps also.

I used a powder tool to prepare the vellum so the embossing powder didn't stick where it was supposed to, I then put the vellum into my Mini Misti and stamped it using Ink On 3 Embossing Ink, I applied Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder, I then used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder.

I ran the dies through my Big Shot using a few leftover bits and pieces from my leftovers bucket and adhered them all together using some Helmar Acid Free liquid Adhesive.

I used patterned papers also from my leftovers bucket, I believe they were from a very old Spotlight Paper pad, sorry no links on these today as I've had them since forever. I matted the star paper onto some white cardstock then onto black American Crafts Cardstock.

I did stamp out a sentiment from the set to add below the above sentiment however I ended up creating a new one on my computer and printing it out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I adhered the vellum to the patterned paper using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive, I added the adhesive right behind the embossing so you can't see it. I wrapped the vellum around the card stock and used some Helmar 450 Quick Dry to keep it adhered, I didnt want it to come off.

I added some Wink Of Stella to the Light Bulb to finish it off and give it a little sparkle.

I adhered all my layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free liquid adhesive.

To complete my card I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bright Gold.

I used leftovers of the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
