Honey Bee Stamps - Friends for Easter

HI Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you a sweet little Easter Card I made using a stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps called Forest Friends that a friend had sent me.

I stamped the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black, I then coloured the image up using Copic Markers.

I used a white Uni-Ball Signo gel pen to add details to the image to finish it off.

Once I had the image coloured up I used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to fussy cut the image.

I used patterned papers from Pebbles Inc Spring Fling 6x6" paper pad, cut some layers and matted then using American Crafts white cardstock and apricot cardstock. I also used one of the pop out sentiments from the same paper pad.

I used a die from Spellbinders Crosses Two die set and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot using X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I ran a die from Sugar Pea Designs call Easter Word die through my Big Shot using American Crafts Black Cardstock.

I adhered all the layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free.

I also used leftovers from the paper pad to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - A Cup Full Of Happiness

It's a cup full of happiness kind of day..

Today I am sharing with you a cute little Christmas stamp from the March Digital Release over at Whimsy Stamps, this is Cup Of Full Of Happiness.

I fussy cut the image out using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors, leaving just a small border.

I cut down some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Let's Polka paper pad, I really love the patterns and colours in this pad.

I added a square of vellum to the centre of the patterned paper just to mute it down a little and so the image would pop off the card a little. I had the reverse leftover piece of white card stock sitting on my desk from another card and thought it would be great for the background of this card.

I added the image to the corner, used a small piece of MFT Grassy Fields that I also had left from another project to the corner over the top of the cup.

I cut some clouds from MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds die and added them to the top of the card, I just used some leftover X-Press It Blending Card for these so they would be the same white.

I added some W Plus 9 Enamel Dots (these are years old so not available to purchase) to the left side of the card.

I ran the Easter Word die from Sugar Pea Designs through my Big Shot twice, once using Black American Crafts Cardstock and some white X-Press It Blending Card.

Lastly for the front of the card I stamped out the word "cutie" from Neat and Tangled Cottontail Cuties

Once I had the front of the card completed I decorated the inside of the card using leftover patterned paper.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Critter Cuties It's Easter

Hi Everyone,

I love making Easter Cards, today I am sharing with you a card I made using the little bunny from Whimsy Stamps Critter Cuties collection.

I printed the images onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock and coloured them up using Copic Markers.

I used a white Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen to add details to my bunny, on his ears and his cheeks. I love the way it finished up the image.

I used patterned papers from Lawn Fawn Let's Polka Collection, I love the spots they are super pretty. I also used the same patterned papers to die cut the Easter Eggs from the Lawn Fawn Happy Hatchlings die set.

Using the Easter Word die from Sugar Pea Designs, I ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot using some leftover X-Press It Blending Card, I like to make sure all my whites are the same.

I cut some clouds from MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds die set.

I added a doily on top of the patterned paper, then layered on my image and all my die cuts.

I also added some grass from MFT Stamps Grassy Fields die, I just used some leftover green card stock from my stash.

Finally I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Caramel Cream, Bubblegum Blush and Duck Egg Blue.

I used some more patterned papers from the paper pad to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Bunny's Assistant

It is so hard to believe that it is almost Easter already, its crazy!

We have started working on our Easter Cards over at Whimsy Stamps and this is one of the new March Digital Stamps.

This is Bunny's Assistant.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer so I was able to colour it using Copic Markers. I have all these listed the end of my post.

I wanted to cut the image out, to do that I had to trace around my die using a Mechanical Pencil, I then used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to trim the top of the carrot so it wouldn't get chopped off. I then ran my die - MFT Stamps Stitched Mini Scallop Circle Stax through my Sizzix Big Shot and cut the image out.

I used MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds and MFT Stamps Cute Cloud Outlines dies and ran them through my Big Shot just using some leftover white X-Press It Blending Card (I try to keep all my leftovers for little things like this).

The patterned papers I'm not sure where they are from, they are actually sticky back papers that I've had since forever. I trimmed the down using my Cutterpillar Pro.

The Grass is also a MFT Stamps die - Grassy Fields, I just used some leftover green card stock from my stash bucket.

I added an Easter word die cut from an Sugar Pea Stamps die, I ran this through my Big Shot using some leftover American Crafts Card Stock.

All the layers on my card were adhered to a Couture Creations Card Base using Helmar Acid Free Liquid Adhesive.

Finally I stamped out the "Happy" word from Honey Bee Stamps Hooray Stamp Set, just using some Memento Tuxedo Black and leftover white X-Press It Blending Card.

Once the front of the card was complete I used some more of the patterned papers to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).

Whimsy Stamps - Meet me under the umbrella

HI Everyone,

It is New Release Week over at Whimsy Stamps this week and I am super excited to share with you Bunny's Share Umbrella, this image is just so adorable, I think it would be super cute for Baby Shower Cards and Easter Cards, today I have used it for an Easter Card.

This is a Digital Stamp, so I printed it onto X-Press It Blending Card using my Brother Laser Printer, laser printers are Copic Marker safe which means there will be no bleeding or smudging. I coloured the images up using my Copic Markers, I will have those all listed below.

I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die, I also added some detail to the image using Uni-Ball white gel pen.

The patterned paper is from a Lawn Fawn paper pad called Let's Polka, it is such a pretty fun pad, lots of nice soft colours - perfect for Easter Cards.

I ran MFT Stamps Grassy Fields die through my Big Shot using some leftover Green Cardstock from my stash leftovers bin (I keep all my offcuts from cards in a bucket/bin thing for things like this). I trimmed it down to size using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

The Easter Word Sentiment die cut is from Sugar Pea Designs, it is such a pretty font and was perfect for my card. I ran it through my Big Shot using some leftover X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

The Happy sentiment is from Neat and Tangled Cottontail Cuties, I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block onto X-Press It Blending Card and trimmed it down.

Finally I used MFT Stamps Puffy Clouds die and more leftover X-Press It Blending Cardstock.

I used some leftovers of the same paper pad to decorate the centre of my card.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
