Welcome to the Neighbourhood Little Boy

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to my blog, today is New Release Day over at Whimsy Stamps so I have the pleasure of sharing with you Ahoy Matey from the Digital Release. Such an adorable image and I have lots of cards coming up that I have used him on.

For my card today I have created a little welcome to the neighbourhood card for a little boy.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer and coloured it up using Copic Markers.

Once I had the image all coloured up I trimmed it down to a smaller size.

I used patterned papers from Crate Paper Little Boy Blue Paper pad, I bannered some pieces up using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I also cut down one of the little sentiments from the same patterned paper pad, the D For Duck which I thought was matching to the card.

I used a sentiment from Taylored Expressions Simple Strips, which I embossed using Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder and Ink On 3 Embossing Ink, I ran it through my Big Shot using the matching dies.

I also added a doily in behind the image.

I love the way this little card turned out :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
