Honey Bee Stamps - Happy 18th With a car show

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you an 18th card I made for a young man using some stamps from Honey Bee Stamps - I used Car Show and You're A Classic.

I cut down a piece of X-Press It Blending Cardstock and stamped out one of the cars from the stamp set repetitively using Memento Tuxedo Black and an acrylic block.

I used J.Burrows Alcohol Markers to colour the images up, they blend nicely however the nibs are just too big to be doing fine detail colouring. All in all I'm pretty happy with them.

Once I had all the images coloured up I started putting together all my layers.

I cut the Happy word from MFT Stamps Happy Trio dies, unfortunately they must be retired as I couldn't find any links so I have linked up some other Happy word dies.

I stamped out the Birthday Sentiment using Ink On 3 embossing ink, (I did pro the card using an embossing buddy) added some Ranger Ink Super Fine White embossing powder which I then melted using my Heat Tool. I trimmed the sentiment down using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I ran Concord & 9th Tall Type Numbers through Big Shot using some blue and some black cardstock then offset layered them up using Helmar Acid Free Adhesive.

To finalise my card I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Midnight Blue.

I also decorated the inside of the card to match.

I hope you have enjoyed my post today, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message or contact me via facebook (all links can be found below).
