Whimsy Stamps - Angel Clove

Hey everyone,

I am here showcasing a card for Whimsy Stamps, using one of the January releases Angel Clove. This image spoke to me, I had plans for this image as soon as I seen it.

Baby loss cards are some of the hardest cards to make, but thankfully this is a no reason card. It will be nice to have a few of these in my stash.

I printed the image out onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother laser Printer, I then coloured the image up using Copic Markers.

Once I had the image all coloured up I coated the wings and the halo in Kindyglitz Crystallina, unfortunately I can't find any links for this product however I have linked up another product which will work much the same.

I fussy cut the image out using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors, I adhered it to a Kaisercraft Doily, which I layered over some patterned papers from Bo Bunny The Avenues Collection.

Once I had all my layers prepared I adhered them to a Couture Creations Cardbase.

Lawn Fawn Stamps - Lovable Legends

It's not often I get to sit down and make cards for the sake of it, but today was one of those days. I was playing with some Lawn Fawn Stamps called Lovable Legends, I also used the matching dies.

                                           

I created 3 cards with this stamp set.

I stamped all the images onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool and Memento Tuxedo Black. I then stamped some of the birthday hats using a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block using some of the leftover card stock. I ran all the images through my Sizzix Big Shot using the matching dies which I kept in place using some washi tape.  I coloured all the images using Copic Markers.

Card 1 
I used some patterned papers from American Crafts #Summer 6x6 Paper Pad, I adhered a doily to a Couture Creations Card Base and cut some of the leftover pieces from the paper pad. I embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto American Crafts Black card stock using Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder. I used a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block to stamp the sentiment out.

I used some rubbing alcohol and a dry wipe and pressed it gently to his back to remove some of the ink, I then added some Uni-Ball white Angelic gel pen to the dinosaur to give him some extra details.
I used my Fiskars Trimmer to trim the sentiment nice and small. I stamped out the other words onto X-press It Blending Card and cut them down on my trimmer and used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to trim the sides.

I adhered everything to the card using Scotch ATG and all the smaller pieces I used American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I then decorated the inside of the card using the same paper collection.

Card 2
Using the same paper pad as card 1 I cut a large layer for my background then used some leftover pieces which I bannered using my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors. I adhered all to a Couture Creations Card Base using Scotch ATG.

I added a doily using American Tomboy Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive, and some little hearts that were leftovers from other projects, I added some Kindyglitz Crystallina to the hearts.

I embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto American Crafts Black card stock using Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder. I used a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block to stamp the sentiment out. I trimmed them using Fiskars Surecut Trimmer and adhered them to the doily. Finally adhering the Octopus using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid adhesive, I added some little details to his face using Uniball White Angelic Gel Pen.

Card 3
Using a Craft Stall paper pad I cut some layers using my Cutterpillar Pro, I bannered the strips using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors. I adhered all these layers to a Couture Creations Card Base using Scotch ATG.

I added a doily using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I then ran another piece of the patterned paper through my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die and adhered it to the doily. I stamped a sentiment out onto some leftover X-Press It Blending card using a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block. Finally I adhered the image and the feet to my card using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid adhesive.

This is all three cards completed.

Time For Tea Designs - Thankyou Beary Much Collection

How cute are these New Release Images from Time For Tea Designs :-) This is the Thankyou Beary Much Collection.

I was very excited to play with these new images, I created this card with not too many layers. All layers were also leftover pieces from the same patterned paper pad but from leftovers of other projects.

I printed the images onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using my Brother Laser Printer then coloured them up using Copic Markers.


                                     

I even have a video to share with you. It is very hot here at the moment which means my markers were not playing all that nice for me while I was colouring these images up. I did however get them all coloured up and onto a card.

Whimsy Stamps - Valentine Lilith and Luca

Hi Everyone,

I have already started on my Valentine's Day Cards for 2018 can you believe it :-)

I am using Valentine Lilith and Valentine Luca, I merged them together using MS Word, as I don't have any fancy editing programs this works for me.

I printed them onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock and coloured them up using Copic Markers.

I fussy cut the images out using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

All the patterned papers are from Echo Park Head Over Heels 6x6 Paper Pad, I couldn't find any links for the paper pad but I was able to find some of the 12x12 sheets so I have linked those up.

I used MFT Stamps Stitched Heart dies which I ran through my Sizzix Big Shot using some of the patterned papers. I added a doily from my stash using some American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. All the bigger layers I adhered using Scotch ATG.

Using a Heart punch from Martha Stewart called heart confetti I added some little hearts to my project.

Once I had all the layers done I adhered them to a Couture Creations Cardbase using Scotch ATG.

I added some Derivan Kindyglitz in Crystalina to the broken heart, I couldn't find this for sale anywhere so I have added links to another project.

Planning with Treasure Hunter from Kindred Stamps

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you all a Planner Layout I created using "Treasure Hunter" from Kindred Stamps. You can find a picture Link below :-)

I stamped all the images out using Misti Stamping Tool onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black.

Using Copic Markers I coloured the images up then used my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to fussy cut the images. There is a cut file for this stamp set which I have also added in the linkups below. I find it soothing to fussy cut so that's what I do.

Whimsy Stamps - PC Aimee and Valentino

Hope everyone had a Wonderful 2018.

It is now time to begin 2019.
My New Years Resolution this year is to be better organised and to build up my You Tube Channel. I am hoping to start posting videos a few times a week.

Let's start with a post for Whimsy Stamps, I have created a card using a Pollycraft image called Aimee and Valentino. This image spoke to me even after already deciding to use another one for my Design Team project haha. What can you do.. we must go with what speaks to us.

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Cardstock, I also printed some of the papers from the "Oh Boy" Paper Pack onto the same paper so my image whiteness would match up. I then moved onto colouring using Copic Markers. I will have these listed at the end of my blog post and linkages for where you can purchase them.

I have a video for you all to watch of the colouring and the card making process below.

                

 I fussy cut my image out using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors (these are seriously the best scissors for fussy cutting). Once I had the image cut out I started putting my card together.

Using a pre-made card base from Couture Creations which I scored using a bone folder, I cut some layers using American Crafts Cardstock, and a white layer from some leftover X-Press it Blending Card, I do like all my whites to be the same on my cards.

I adhered all the layers down using Scotch ATG then proceeded to add a doily and my image using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

Finally using a Birthday sentiment from Gerda Steiner Dachshunds stamp set I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black using some left over X-Press it Blending Card. I then trimmed it using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors then added some Scotch ATG to adhere and my scissors to trim the excess. I then proceeded to decorate the inside of the card using all the same papers.
