Welcome to Heartcraft Paper - With a Blog Hop

Welcome :-)

It is the start of the first month of Heartcraft Paper so we are starting off with a Blog Hop, we are all so excited to be here on this Design Team sharing all our new projects with you.

Here is the New Release I have worked with for this month.

I have created a card using Gemma.

I printed her out on Mondi Color Copy 250GSM, I coloured her using Copic Markers (Listed below), I then ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot using a My Favorite Things Stitched Rounded Rectangle die.

I used a patterned paper pad from Doodlebug Design Inc called Day to Day, I cut a few sheets on my Cutterpillar Pro, then trimmed some pieces into banners using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.

I then cut a matt layer from American Crafts Red Card stock, I adhered the patterned sheets using Scotch ATG, I then added the image using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I used one of the leftovers from the patterned papers to create a small banner for next to the sentiment.

I added a die cut word from a My Favorite Things die which I cut using Canson Card stock on Sizzix Big Shot. Everything was then adhered to a Twiddleybitz Card Base, I also always decorate the insides of my cards using leftover product.

Whimsy Stamps Day 2 Release - Penguin with Ice Cream

It's Day 2 of the New release at Whimsy Stamps for July 2018.

Yesterday I shared with you a card using Penguin With Ice Cream and today I am sharing another card with the same image. Unfortunately I had taken ill the week I had planned to get more cards made and was unable to make anything else. I was lucky enough to have made 2 cards on the day I made the first Penguin card so decided to share that with you for my second post.

I have coloured the penguin today eating one of my favourite ice-cream flavours - choc mint :-)

I love the simplicity of the card I have made, less is more sometimes and on this card that's how I felt. I adore that the image is the main part of my card and the patterned papers from Party with Amy Locurto - Poolside bring it to life.

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers (I will have these listed below).

Everything was adhered using Scotch ATG except for the die cut (which was cut using the same patterned paper) which was adhered using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I then added all the final layers onto a Twiddleybitz Card Base.

Heartcraft Paper Sneak Peaks

Hi Everyone,

Whimsy Stamps July Release Day 1 - Penguin with Ice Cream

Today I am sharing with you all a card I have made to showcase the new release at Whimsy Stamps for July 2018.

I have used the gorgeous and super sweet Penguin Ice-Cream, I can't even tell you how much fun I had colouring up this image and creating a card. I decided my Penguin today is a little girl penguin and she is having her favourite ice cream flavours - Strawberry and Chocolate in an ice cream cone. She was enjoying it so much that it ended up all over the floor and all over her.

I added some little tiny ants that I had from another stamp set (another stamp company), I stamped them out using Memento Tuxedo Black and a tiny acrylic block from my stash, the summer sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I then added a shadow underneath using my Copic Markers.

I added a hello die cut from a previous cutting, it was also from another stamp company. I used Mondi Color Copy 250GSM for this.

I used patterned papers from Party with Amy Locurto - Poolside for my patterned papers and for the banners up the top corner. Everything was adhered using Scotch ATG except for the die cut which was adhered using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I added a doily in underneath the image then added some mat layers from Canson Card stock, I then added all the final layers onto a Twiddleybitz Card Base.

Time For Tea Designs Blooming Lovely

It's my turn to give inspiration for Time For Tea Designs today,

I have created a card using Blooming Lovely, she was so inspiring to me and my creative that I was able to get this card coloured and put together pretty quickly. I love it when I have days like this :-)

                                                  

I coloured her up with Copic Markers after printing her onto Mondi Color Copy 250GSM.

I used patterned papers from Fancy Pants Designs Hopscotch 6x6 Paper Pad, I ran a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles die through my Crafter's Companion Gemini Machine. I added a doily from my stash and cut the banners using EK Success Cutterbee Scissors, after trimming with Cutterpillar Pro.

I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow and Carnation Pink. Everything was adhered onto a Twiddleybitz Card Base.

Time For Tea Designs - July Challenge Beach Theme

Hi Everyone,

Its Beach theme over at Time For Tea Designs this month, I had to think outside of the box on this one but I think I did a pretty good job.

I have used "Windy Day" as my image today, It's actually one that I have had in my stash for a while which is always pretty great to get something back out again. You can check out the other images available in the Time For Tea Shop.

I printed the image out onto Mondi Color Copy 250GSM using my Brother Laser Printer, and coloured her up using Copic Markers.

Hello Sunshine with Goldie - Whimsy Stamps

Hey there,

It's Mid Month of the New Release at Whimsy Stamps.

                                
I have created a card using Fish In The Sun by Krista Heij-Barber, she is such an amazing artist and designs some of the most amazing stamps, this one in particular caught my eye but I just didn't know what I was going to do with him at the time. So he has been sitting on my desk waiting for today (the day I made this card and wrote up my blog post). I had an absolute blast making this card and there is actually not a lot to it, it just fell together beautifully.

I printed the image onto Mondi Color Copy 250GSM Card using my Brother Laser Printer and coloured the image up using Copic Markers.

I cut the image out on my Cutterpillar Pro, I cut a piece of patterned paper from my stash and a piece of yellow plain cardstock from American Crafts. I adhered the three layers using American Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from another company stamp set using Tsukinedo Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

I cut the word "hello" from a piece of white Mondi Color Copy 250GSM (just a leftover piece), I ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot. I then used my Copic Markers to colour and blend it all together. I added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker to the top. I also cut another one using Canson Cardstock and adhered off centre behind the coloured one to give it a slight shadow and bring it up off my card. I added Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive to the back of the die cut, then adhered it to my image.

Once I had all the layers done I adhered them all down to a Twiddleybitz Card Base using Scotch 3M ATG.

I didn't keep record of the Copic Markers I used on this one unfortunately because I was having way too fun making my card and forgot :-)
