Christmas In July - Auzz Trinklets N Krafts

Good Morning Lovely Followers,

I am here with you today with a DT Card for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.  I went through my last box of goodies I received from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts and found this cute little stamp from CC Designs & Pollycraft called "Candy" isn't she just the sweetest. I purchased her out of season so have not yet had a chance to use her hence why she was still in the box.

I thought i'd break her out and have a play. I'm not normally one for leaving things to the last minute but I did with this card. I wasn't quite sure what i was planning on creating. I used to always keep a little square of paper in front of me whilst designing to try and keep track of all the products used but I haven't been doing it so much lately so I wanted to make something fresh that I could keep a list for you guys.

So here is the completed card I have created today

I first cut the MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Circle using my Sizzix Big Shot. I then stamped the image with my Misti Stamping Tool using Memento Tuxedo Black on the circle I cut out of Mondi Color Copy cardstock.

I coloured the image using Copic Markers, a list of those will be below. 

Once the image was all coloured I decided to used my "Snow Writer" pen (which is also available through Auzz Trinklets) and coated her hat, pom pom and the base of her skirt. I wasn't patient enough to wait for it to dry so I carefully heated it from underneath until it puffed up. I then allowed it to cool and carefully started assembling the card.

I found the soft papers from a little paper pad that came free with a card making magazine i purchased quite a while ago. I backed them using American crafts Cardstock and Canson White Cardstock. I added some crochet twine to the top layer. All this was attached using my Scotch ATG. 

I found some American Crafts glitter cardstock scraps left on my desk from another project so I decided to create a white Christmas tree which I have never personally had so was a little excited. I used the "Build A Christmas Tree" Die from La La Land Crafts. 

I still had a little bit of the glitter cardstock left so decided to cut some stars from the La La Land "Filligree Stars" die. I ran it through twice just to get the finer little cuts out of the stars but they actually came out quite easily. 

Once I had all these little bits cut it still looked like it was missing something so i found the little enamel dots from W Plus 9 and added some of the smallest ones on. Lucky last my card needed a sentiment. I remembered i had purchased this "Jolly Christmas" stamp set from CC Designs a while ago and hadn't used it yet, the candy sentiment was perfect. I stamped it on Mondi Color Copy using Memento Tuxedo Black and cut it out using MFT Stitched banner die.

I then attached all the layers onto a pre-made cardbase from Twiddleybitz.

Farm-Tastic Fun - Auzz Trinklets N Krafts DT

Hi Everyone,

I have a DT card for you today for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts using the Farm-tastic stamp set and matching dies from My Favorite Things. Most of the products i have used today are available over at the Auzz Trinklets N Krafts store.

I love love love that all these companies are now creating matching dies to their stamp sets. To begin with i didn't understand why you would spend the money when you could simply fussy cut them by hand.. but seriously have you tried fussy cutting that many small images? lol. I am now a firm believer in matching dies : -) They make my life so much easier and my poor hands cope much better now.

I coloured these images up when i first purchased this stamp set, unfortunately the dies were sold out and on back order so i had coloured them all up and not used them until the dies came in. Moral of the story is i don't have a list for you, although they were all coloured using Copic Markers.

Time For Tea Designs July Challenge

Hi Everyone,

As July begins, it is the start of a new challenge over at Time For Tea Designs with Stars and Stripes.

I have created this card today using an image called "Presents" which will be being released in digital form this year.

I have printed the image on Mondi Color Copy and fussy cut by hand. I have then coloured her up using Copic Markers.

Auzz Trinklets N Krafts - Make It A Card Tuesday - MFT Unicorns

Good Morning Everyone,

I have a card show for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts for you today, using a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Magical Unicorns. I love love love unicorns and couldn't wait to get this set.

Let's talk process then i will add links down the bottom of all the items i have used on this card.

First i stamped the images out on Mondi Color Copy using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

I normally would colour all the images at this stage but i was multi-tasking a few things at the time so i ended up die cutting all the images using my Sizzix Big Shot first.

I then coloured all the images using Copic Markers (list will be below) once they were all coloured i added Wink Of Stella clear to the horns.

Next i used Blueprints 27 from My Favorite Things and cut out the frame using Mondi Color Copy so it was the same white as the images.

I used my Mini Distress Inks and Mini Ink Blending Tool from Tim Holtz to blend the backgrounds of all the rectangles. I used Tumbled glass on the small two rectangles and both Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar on the larger one. While blending the larger rectangle i somehow crumpled it slightly (aah) so after the card was finished I added some Sequins from my stash to cover that spot up.

After doing all the blending i laid it all out on my desk to work out what i was going to do design wise.. At first i was planning to put a unicorn into all three rectangles.. when i laid it out it just didn't look right.. so then i decided to stamp the rainbow onto the middle rectangle and colour it to match. (just realised i did this before blending not after).

I glued the unicorns onto the rectangles using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive and then added the wings as i wasn't sure if i was going to add them using foam tape or not. I ended up glueing them on as i decided i would put the frame onto the large rectangle die from the Blueprints 27 set using Scotch Foam Adhesive. I cut the rectangle out of some leftover blue from a previous project.

I then added the whole layout to a card base from Twiddleybitz using my Scotch ATG and that is the card complete.

Lucky last i added some Perfect Pearls to a Ranger Mini Mister and spritz my whole card so it is all glittery and beautiful.

Auzz Trinklets N Krafts - Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Make It A Card Thursday over at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, I  have been playing with the MFT Stamps - Prehistoric Fun Dinosaur stamps. They were so much fun to colour and create with.
I have created 3 cards with them and thought i'd pop in and share them.

I have coloured all the images using Copic Markers. Papers are from a Prima paper pad. I have used sentiment strips from Lawn Fawn Stamps, the sentiments are all from the same stamp set and i stamped them using Memento Tuxedo Black.
The white circles are all cut using MFT Dies on my Sizzix Big Shot.

You can order this stamp set and matching dies (I actually forgot to purchase the dies for this stamp set so cut them by hand), aswell as the MFT Circle dies I have used from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

Time For Tea June Challenge - Birthdays

Hi Everyone,

Over at Time For Tea Designs we have just started our June Challenge.. this month it is Birthdays.

It's a nice and simple one and there isn't many rules to follow. (I will add those below)

Here is the Design Team card I have created for you this month using "Shop Til You Drop". I have coloured the image up using Copic Markers.
